Brickworks was founded by the creator of Sublustrum and Phobos: 1953 — thrilling quest games with unique atmosphere, visuals and ambient music — and grew into a team of devoted game developers in Limassol, Cyprus. WE ARE HIRING
You are the perfect fit if you have:
Experience managing technical teams in the gaming industry for at least 3 years;
Excellent theoretical knowledge, including an understanding of algorithms and data structures;
A strong technical background: Experience with complex/large-scale projects using the Unity engine, extensive past experience in C# programming;

Leadership qualities, along with a creative and innovative approach to solving technical challenges;
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with the team and partners.
A big plus if you have:
Experience with server infrastructure/architecture.
Your responsibilities:
Developing and implementing the technical strategy for gaming projects;
Managing, building, and growing the technical team;
Analyzing the effectiveness of existing technologies and tools across all product areas and improving them;
Making strategic technological decisions and defining the technical architecture of projects;
Ensuring high quality and innovation in gaming products;
Exploring new, promising technologies for the product (R&D);
Evaluating the cost of changes or features for the company and the product;
Achieving business goals through technical solutions;
Taking responsibility for technical risks and incidents;

You are the perfect fit if you have:
Relevant experience in game development in a similar role for at least 5 years;
A high level of autonomy;
The ability to plan, prototype, and implement detailed game scenes in close collaboration with 3D artists and programmers;
Experience working with lighting in Unity;
An understanding of scripting in Unity;
Experience working on PC projects;
Proficiency in Blender;
A solid understanding of game logic fundamentals;
A portfolio showcasing examples of work that demonstrate the required skills;
The ability to clearly communicate ideas and focus on results;
A good understanding of composition rules, an artistic sense.
It will be a big plus if you have:
Knowledge of C#.
Your responsibilities:
Designing and creating game levels in Unity with a focus on gameplay and visual solutions;
Analyzing and improving levels based on analytics;
Ensuring the quality of game levels;
Adjusting and refining environmental object models;
Collaborating with teams (developers, game designers, testers, and environment artists) and participating in team meetings.
